Fund manager who has no qualms about sitting on cash

Dr Tan Chong Koay, head of Malaysian fund management outfit Pheim Asset Management, who has absolutely no qualms about having a large part of his portfolio in cash when the occasion demands it. “The only time I am ever near fully invested, which in my case is about 85 per cent of the portfolio, is near the bottom of the market”.
